Description
English: ADA was designed and built in 1924 by William Fife III and commissioned by prominent Sydney surgeon Sir Alex McCormick. The vessel took part in several Sydney to Hobart Yacht races and was renamed ASTOR in 1960. See ASTOR's entry on the Australian Register of Historic Vessels for a detailed history of this yacht.
