| Description |
English: School of Art & Design The School of Art & Design occupies this landmark building just outside the Ring Road. It was built in 1969 at the time that the Art College and South Staffordshire Technical College were merged to create Wolverhampton Polytechnic. Through the 1970s and 1980s the Poly expanded incorporating the local teacher training colleges. In 1992 it was awarded university status and now operates on the city centre campus and other sites at Compton, Walsall and Telford. |
