Toelichting
Oorspronkelijk gebouwd voor Meinhardt Schomberg, derde Hertog van Schomberg (1641-1719). Vanaf 1806 was de boekhandel van Thomas Payne op dit adres gevestigd. Deze prent is afkomstig van een groter blad getiteld: 'The Houses and Shops of Old London', uitgegeven tussen 1840-1859. De prent is uitgeknipt en opgeplakt, samen met aantekeningen die betrekking hebben op de familie Payne.
