Deutsch: Vorderseite: Gekrönter Reiter mit Fahne und Schild nach links. Über der Pferdekruppe Rad mit Kreuz (Reichsapfel?), auf dem Schild Schafschere.

Kommentar: Wegen der Schafschere auf dem Schild wird dieser Brakteat den Herren von Schlotheim (bei Mühlhausen) zugewiesen (vgl. H. Buchenau, Brakteaten der Herren von Schlotheim, Blätter für Münzfreunde 40, 1905, 3324-3326). Bildlich handelt es sich um einen Beischlag zu den Brakteaten der königlichen Münzstätte Mühlhausen. Im Jahre 1290 wurden die Herren von Schlotheim wegen solcher Beischläge verklagt. Als Münzstätte hat Wild (2013) mit guten Gründen Mihla vorgeschlagen.
