Nederlands: Scheveningse visloopster, 1775. De Scheveningse visloopsters moesten een afstand van 4,2 kilometer lopen om de vis te kunnen verkopen op de vismarkt in Den Haag.
English: Fish carrier from Scheveningen. The mostly female fish carriers from Scheveningen used to bring the fresh fish from the small sea town of Scheveningen to the fish market in the city of The Hague. A distance of 2.6 miles.
