Summary
[edit]DescriptionSchematic-representation-of-peatland-structure-and-function-in-the-implementation-described-in-this-paper.jpg |
English: Schematic representation of peatland structure and function in the implementation described in this paper. Dynamic peat layers deposit above the static mineral soil layers (0.5 + 1.5 m). In the shallow peat, plant roots are present in both mineral and peat layers. Once the peat becomes sufficiently thick (2 m), all roots are confined to the peat layers. |
