English: Schadewohl Steingrab 1, Chambered Tomb in Saxony-Anhalt
South of Schadewohl, west of Kerstenberg, near a hill called 'Spitzen Berg' are the remains of three megalithic tombs. Tomb No. 1 is located 60m NW of a small way leading out of Schadewohl. There is a small lengthy bush, the place has been used as a dump. Schadewohl 1 (or Tomb 37 according to the official book 'Großsteingräber in der Altmark') was an Extended Dolmen with six pairs of uprights on the long sides, and a single stone on the short. Four capstones are still there, but fallen, partly broken and shifted out of place. The uprights also have moved outwards. One broken capstone has a deep encarved rill on one side.
