| Description |
English: By the Cenotaph on Whitehall on Armistice Day where there were a series of running scuffles over several hours between the police and "counter-protestors" who were there ostensibly to protect the Cenotaph from desecration by Palestinian activists. Things usually flared up when people returning from the pro-Palestine march (on the left) came into close contact with those at Parliament Square who, depending on your perspective, could variously be described as far right activists, English nationalists/patriots, football hooligans. |
