Summary
[edit]DescriptionSay it with flowers - geograph.org.uk - 158391.jpg |
English: Say it with flowers Inverclyde Council's gardeners have put a lot of work into this attractive flower bed in Port Glasgow which commemorates the centenary of the 2nd Port Glasgow BB Company. The town's war memorial is in the background. The prefabricated building is the "Old Men's Club". Some old warehouses from the town's seafaring past survive in the distance, these now house a garage. The old style lamps are a fairly recent addition. The hills in the far distance are to the north of Helensburgh, across the River Clyde. |
