English: Sapundu is a wooden sculpture that is usually used as an instrument of Tiwah ritual of Dayak Ngaju tribe. This image depicts Sapundu Hatue which is one of the types of Sapundu. This type of Sapundu represent a male figure who held several weapons like a spear and a lance.
Bahasa Indonesia: Sapundu merupakan karya seni ukir kayu dari masyarakat Dayak Ngaju yang biasa digunakan pada upacara Tiwah. Foto ini menggambarkan salah satu jenis Sapundu, yaitu Sapundu Hatue atau Lelaki yang menggenggam senjata seperti tombak dan mandau. |
