"Igrexa exenta con 4 fachadas que ocupa unha mazá enteira, coa finalidade de obter a máxima iluminación natural. Foi proxectada polo arquitecto Manuel Felipe Quintana e construída entre 1896-1907, polos contratistas Cerviño e Senra. O seu estilo é historicista neogótico, non obstante as súas formas non son esveltas e diáfanas, como é típico do neogótico, senón que ten aparencia pesada polas súas grandes superfices macizas. Ten planta rectangular con tres naves. As bóvedas son de crucería, con contrafortes laterais, rematados en pináculos neogóticos. A nave central é a maior e ilumínase mediante o grande ventanal da fachada principal, os tres vans alongados e estreitos da ábsida e os óculos trilobulados dos muros laterais."
