Summary

[edit]
Description
English: German-American brewer August Anheuser Busch Sr. acquired a large fraction of the old Ulysses S. Grant tract in Affton, Missouri (now Grantwood Village, Missouri) in 1903 and in 1914 built The Bauernhof in its midst. Designed by the firm Klipstein & Rathman, its likeness was used in this advert to promote a cement product that had been used in its construction.
