Description
Magyar: Sándor Pál síremléke a Salgótarjáni Utcai Zsidó Temetőben. Eichbaum Mór kőfaragó mester műve.[1] Az eredeti alkotásról: „A harcos Sándor Pál életművét fekete márványtalapzaton elhelyezett bronzoroszlán jelképezi. Az oroszlán védőén őrködik az egymás mellé helyezett Corpus Juris, a Szentírás és a kereskedelmet szimbolizáló Merkurbot felett. A síremlék a maga nemes egyszerűségében hű marad a nagy halott polgári tanításához. A lépcsőzetesen felépített márványtalapzaton hatalmas méretű bronzkoszorúút fognak elhelyezni, amelynek 100 levelére az ország 100 kereskedelmi testülete fogja a nevét örök hálája jeléül odavésetni. A szalagon a következő felírás lesz: »Elnökének, a magyar kereskedők vezérének örök kegyelettel az OMKE«”.[2] Eredeti látványa.[3]
