English: Brig. Gen. Stephen K. Curda, commander of the 9th Mission Support Command was in attendance of the Saipan U.S. Army Reserve Center's groundbreaking ceremony, July 11, 2016. Along with the commander, in attendance was the Lt. Governor, Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islandes, the Honorable Victor Hocog, other state officials and management personnel from Aafes. The center will be undergoing a full revitalization to its complex, enhancing the capabilities of the center to include upgraded storm protection, security systems and upgrades to the air conditioning system.
