| Description |
English: The chapel Notre-Dame-de-Bon-Secours or chapel of the Fathers (1847) dominates the Saint Etienne city. It is easy to spot because of the high christ on the site of the Chapel of St. Elizabeth (?) destroyed during the July Revolution. Español: La Iglesia de los Padres (1847) domina la ciudad de Saint Etienne. Es fácil de detectar causa l gran cristo erigido en el sitio de la Capilla de Santa Isabel (?) destruida durante la Revolución de Julio. Français : La chapelle Notre-Dame-de-Bon-Secours ou chapelle des Pères (1847, consacrée en 1852) domine l'agglomération de Saint-Étienne. Elles est facile à repérer à cause du grand Christ en Croix élevé à l'emplacement de l'ancienne chapelle Sainte-Barbe détruite lors de la révolution de juillet. La statue monumentale de la Vierge à l'Enfant dite Notre-Dame-de-Bonsecours (inaugurée en 1867, fonte de fer, 3,70 m de hauteur[1]) placée face à la ville sur un piédestal au sommet de la façade est une œuvre du statuaire stéphanois Étienne Montagny (1816-1895). |
