Description
English: Sailors assigned to Navy Operational Support Center Chicago visit with the patients of La Rabida Children's Hospital. The sailors gave the children Navy command baseball caps as part of the Caps for Kids program during the U.S. Navy's commemoration of the Bicentennial of the War of 1812. The commemoration coincides with Chicago Navy Week, one of 15 signature events planned across America in 2012. Service members from the U.S. Navy, Marine Corps, Coast Guard and Royal Canadian navy will participate in the weeklong event, which culminates with performances by the U.S. Navy's flight demonstration team, the Blue Angels, at the 2012 Chicago Air and Water Show.
