Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Cinci Han in Safranbolu is one of the hundreds of large and small caravanserais built on the historical Silk Road stretching from China to Anatolia for centuries. Cinci Han was built by Karabaşzade Hüseyin Efendi (Cinci Hoca) from Safranbolu in 1645. Although its architect is not known for certain, it is thought to have been built by Koca Architect Kazım Ağa. Cinci Inn, which was used as a caravanserai until the 20th century, when the historical Silk Road began to lose its effectiveness, was used as a warehouse by the tradesmen of Safranbolu from the beginning of the 20th century, then it was used as a hotel after the necessary restoration
