English: Safe mooring The shallow waters of the bay abound with small, natural harbours. Here the mooring is not only cut off from the sea by a nearby rocky reef, but by the bulk of Inis Mhic Cionaith to the west. Quiet water conditions are also suggested by the abundant growth of seaweed, which is particularly prolific in this area of enclosed water. |
