Description

500px provided description: No beauty in the world is so beautiful as to overcome the sadness of being trapped. I took this photo at the Bird Zoo in Dalian, China. It really is a fantastic photo but very sad. You may notice that the bird in focus (a type of Asian parrot) is obese. The cage with some dozens of pagas and macaws from all over the world, though colorful, was silent and sad. All the birds were fastened with chain and padlocks and did not move more than in their short perches.
