Description
Italiano: pala d'altare seicentesca con S. Bernardino, ora collocata nel presbiterio e da poco restaurata. Il quadro, per un tempo attribuito al Campi, poi smentito, ha subito numerose vicissitudini, anche con la visita Pozzobonelli si cita l'opera come bisognosa di interventi. La pala si compone con le caratteristiche del Manierismo Milanese. La figura centrale del santo dichiara una certa forza oratoria nell'innalzare il monogramma di Cristo e aprire il libro della sua catechesi, circondato da una corona di angeli.
