Description
Deutsch: Eine F-86 etwas demontiert. Eine "Sabre 6" (Canadair CL-13B Sabre Mk.6, kanad. Lizenzbau der North American F-86F Sabre) YA-042, die zusammen mit drei weiteren Sabre 6 YA-005, -041 und -043 bei der ESt 61 (Erprobungsstelle 61) in Manching getestet wurde. Die ESt 61 war bereits 1956 in Manching aufgestellt worden, Mitte der 1970er Jahre wurden dort u.a. MRCA Tornado, F-4F und CH-53 getestet. Lt. o.g. Publikation[1] aus dem Jahr 1976 führte die ESt 61 Mitte der 1970er Jahre ausserdem folgende Flugzeugtypen in ihrem Bestand:

  • 6 Fiat G.91R (YA-011 - YA-015, YA-018) -
  • 2 Fiat G.91T (YA-022 - YA-023) -
  • 3 C-160 Transall (YA-051 - YA-053) -
  • 7 F-104G Starfighter (YA-101 - YA-107) -
  • 1 TF-104G Starfighter (YA-120) -
  • 3 Canberra B.2 modified, English Electric (YA-151 - YA-153) -
sowie eine ungenannte Anzahl der Typen Bo 105, UH-1, Do 28 D, Alpha Jet und RF-4 Phantom II.
