English: U.S. Army CH-47 Chinook helicopters assigned to 2nd Battalion, 227th Aviation Regiment, 1st Air Cavalry Brigade, flies over the treeline during an air assault exercise during Saber Strike 22. Saber Strike and exercises like it show that the U.S. and European forces can simultaneously support ongoing operations and regularly scheduled training without degradation in supporting NATO allies and partners.
