Description
English: A Early Medieval silver coin; a penny of Cnut (AD 1016 - 1035), Pointed Helmet type dating from AD 1024 - 1030, Style IV (York). It was struck by Brihtnorth at York. See North (1994) Volume 1, number 787 on page 168. The coin is bent on one edge and has some areas of damage where there are holes. It has a diameter of 19.0mm, thickness 0.9mm, and weight 1.0g.
