Description
English: Astronaut John Phillips, STS-119 mission specialist, uses a handheld laser ranging device -- designed to measure the distance between two spacecraft -- through one of the overhead windows on the aft flight deck of Space Shuttle Discovery to track the range of the International Space Station during rendezvous operations.
