Description Na het oerwoud van de vorige foto iets minder verval. Op 18 augustus maakte ik een rondje door Nord-Pas-de-Calais, en daarbij was mijn eerste rit van de dag TER 41207 van Lille-Flandres naar Valenciennes. Treinstel Z 23522 vervoerde mij tussen de twee tramsteden, een ritje van 40 minuten. De stoptrein is er eentje van behoorlijke kwaliteit voor Franse begrippen, ieder uur gaat er wel een trein tussen de twee steden. Dat wil niet zeggen dat het gelijk ook een uursdienst is, doordat elke trein verschillende stations langs de lijn aandoet, en geen enkele alle stations, verschilt de reistijd tussen de plaatsen constant, het hangt af van het uur van de dag. Makkelijk zal de SNCF het nooit maken, maar optijd rijden in een schone staat deed deze trein gelukkig wel. De vis die door alternatieve artiesten in het raam gekrast was nemen we dan maar voor lief...
