English: Shown here is the chain of tests that was to demonstrate SLCM readiness to enter full scale development (by corresponding contractor.) The structural test vehicle, which will be of flight quality, will be tested as shown.
The performance test vehicle will be mounted and tested in the wind tunnel for the purposes shown. The booster test vehicle will be launched from underwater and will test deployment of control surfaces as well as booster operation and separation. The strategic guidance set validation phase will progress through the steps shown. The flight test mission. |
