English: U.S. Army Soldiers assigned to U.S. Army Southern European Task Force, Africa (SETAF-AF) turn in empty magazines and unused rounds to the range safety after qualifying at Cao Malnisio, Pordenone, Italy on Sept. 26, 2023. Soldiers conducted an Engagement Skills Trainer Exercise (EST) the week prior to their qualification to ensure maximum efficiency with their weapons. SETAF-AF provides U.S. Africa Command and U.S. Army Europe & Africa a dedicated headquarters to synchronize Army activities in Africa and scalable crisis response options in Africa and Europe.
