Two tremendous elliptical galaxies share dominance in this lensing system. I can see background galaxies wrapping around both of them. There seems to be more than usual barred spiral and lenticular galaxies scattered about this frame.

Resolving the Star Formation in Distant Galaxies WFC3/IR blobs were filled with cloned data. Red: hst_13003_10_wfc3_ir_f160w_drz Cyan: hst_13003_10_wfc3_ir_f110w_drz, hst_13003_10_wfc3_uvis_f606w_drz Blue: hst_13003_10_wfc3_uvis_f390w_drz North is 4.6° counter-clockwise from up. |
