Description

Une monnaie en laiton d'une sapèque (1 cash) de l'empereur Si Zong (1628-1644), ère Chong Zhen de la dynastie Ming (1368-1644). C'est le dernier empereur de cette dynastie. A/ Chong Zhen tong bao (Monnaie courante de Chong Zhen) R/ Vide, revers large Dimension : 21,8 mm Poids : 2,1 g. Référence : ? Indice de rareté : ? Remarque : Cette monnaie correspond à la pièce de 2 cash H20.325 sauf qu'elle n'a pas la bonne largeur ni le bon poids. C'est une fausse monnaie. La loi a introduit des punitions pour l'utilisation de la fausse monnaie à la fin de l'année 1643 : trente coups pour l'utilisation d'une fausse monnaie, la décapitation pour celui qui est découvert avec 4 fausses monnaies ou plus. On pourrait imaginer ce qui est arrivé à son propriétaire chinois ! Après tout, peut-être ne s'est-il pas fait prendre ?

On remarque aussi un point qui dépasse du rebord en haut de la monnaie : il est sur la tranche. C'est le reste du tenon de coulée.
