English: A portrait of Hường Đề (or Hồng Đề, 阮福洪𣄍), a Nguyễn Dynasty‎ mandarin who was the grand-son of the Minh-Mang Emperor served the country between the 1910's to the 1940's.
Français : S. E. Hương Đề (阮福洪𣄍), Ministre honoraire, fils du Prince Tuy-An Quận-Công, petit-fils de l’Empereur Minh-Mạng, né à Huế en 1885. Élève de l’École des Frères de Thủ-Đức (Saigon en 1901). Élève du Collège du Protectorat (section normale) à Hanoi en 1907. Diplômé des Études Primaires Complémentaires en 1910. Élève au titre nobiliaire de Tả Quốc Khanh en 1910. Instituteur à l’École de Quảng Trị en 1911-1914.

Directeur des Écoles de Thừa-Thiên en 19141916. Professeur au Collège Hậu-Bổ et Quốc Học à Huế en 1916. Interprète et secrétaire particulier de S. M. Khải Định en 1916-1917.

Bang-Tá au Conseil des Ministres en 1917-1918. Tri-Phủ de Tuy-Phước (Bình-Định) en 1918-1920. Intendant de S.M. Khải Định en 1920-1921. Phó-Sứ des Tombeaux Royaux de Huế en 1921-1927.

Vice-Président du Conseil de la Famille Royale en 1927-1932. Tham-Tri au Ministère des Rites en 1932-1933. Tham-Tri au Ministère des Travaux des Arts et des Rites en 1933-1940.

Bố-Chánh de Thanh Hóa en 1937-1938.

Admis à la retraite pour ancienneté de services (1940) avec le grade de Thượng-Thơ (Ministre honoraire).

A accompagné, en qualité d’interprète et secrétaire particulier, S. M. Khải Định dans ses tournées à Quảng-Nam en 1916, au Tonkin et la frontière de Chine. Délégué de S. M. l’Empereur d’Annam à la Cérémonie d’investiture du Baron An-Phước à Hà-Đông en 1940. Réputé pour son talent de musicien.

Chevalier du Dragon d’Annam.
