Summary
[edit]DescriptionSääsenukk (pupa).jpg |
Eesti: Sääsenukk (pupa) pildistatud mikroskoobi all kasutades 4x objektiivi. Isend on kogutud 2021. aasta 29. juulil Eestis Rakvere linnas asuvast tiigist. Nukk on sääse eluringi kolmas staadium, järgnedes vastsestaadiumile ja eelnedes täiskasvanud sääsele. See on puhkestaadium, mille jooksul toimub vastse täielik ümberkujunemine valmikuks. Pildil on hästi näha nuku kõverdunud kuju ja poolläbipaistev väliskest, läbi mille kumab rohekas kehasisaldis. Nuku esiosas on näha tumedam silmapiirkond.
Pilt on tehtud musta tausta peal, mis toob esile nuku poolläbipaistva kesta ja sisemised struktuurid. Valgustamisel on kasutatud peegelduvat valgust fotograafia välklambilt (speedlight), mis rõhutab eriti hästi nuku välispinna tekstuuri. Pilt on tehtud kasutades fookuse virnastamise tehnikat (focus stacking), mis tagab suure teravussügavuse.
English: A mosquito pupa photographed under a microscope using a 4x objective. The specimen was collected on July 29, 2021, from a pond in the city of Rakvere, Estonia. The pupa represents the third stage in the mosquito life cycle, following the larval stage and preceding the adult mosquito. It is a resting stage during which the complete transformation from larva to adult takes place. The image clearly shows the curved shape of the pupa and its semi-transparent cuticle through which the greenish body content is visible. A darker eye region can be seen in the anterior part of the pupa.
The specimen was photographed against a black background, which highlights the semi-transparent cuticle and internal structures. The lighting technique used was reflected light from a photographic speedlight flash, which particularly emphasizes the surface texture of the pupa. The image was created using focus stacking technique, which ensures great depth of field throughout the subject. |
