Description
Deutsch: "Ryttarehässja", eine Type schwedischer Harpfen für Heu.
English: "Ryttarehässja", a standing, circular wooden frame for stacking hay (temporary hay drying rack). This variant of "hässja" has been used locally in parts of Norway and southwestern Sweden, before the advent of baling machines.
Svenska: "Ryttarehässja", en träställning för upphängning av hö för torkning. En rund variant av långhässjan som ger ett genomgående hål inuti, för snabbare torkning samtidigt med skydd mot elementen. Lokalt använd i delar av Norge och Västsverige före höbalningens genombrott. Här uppställd i Lindome söder om Göteborg.
