Summary
[edit]DescriptionRydal Cave and Loughrigg Fell From Nab Scar - geograph.org.uk - 70597.jpg |
English: Rydal Cave and Loughrigg Fell From Nab Scar. One of the interesting features of the Rydal Water side of Loughrigg Fell is the large cavern and slate quarries part way up the fellside, towards the righthand-side of this photo. Loughrigg Fell is covered in humps and hollows formed by the volcanic rocks, and is viewed in this instance from the path down Nab Scar, with Rydal Water in the foreground and Windermere in the distance. |
