Description
Bahasa Indonesia: Ruwatan Tirta yang dilakukan di Sumber petirtaan Candi Jolotundo merupakan tradisi turun temurun yang tetap dilestarikan sampai sekarang oleh masyarakat. karena masyarakat berkeyakinan bahwa kawasan Gunung Penanggungan merupakan gunung budaya dan harus tetap dijaga kesakralannya.

Rangkaian upacara ruwat sumber antara lain Napak Tilas Eyang Prabu Airlangga, yaitu mengenang kembali kisah perjalanan Raja Kahuripan dalam menjaga dan melestarikan sumber-sumber air yang ada disepanjang kaki Gunung Penanggungan, dengan melakukan prosesi ritual pengambilan air di 33 (tiga puluh tiga) titik sumber mata air sepanjang lereng Gunung Penanggungan.

Dilanjutkan dengan Ritual Panyuwunan, memuji kepada Gusti Allah SWT kang Akarya Jagad agar segala upaya sangkan paraning dumadi selalu mendapat restu dan lindunganNya, kemudian menyatukan ke 33 mata air melalui Prosesi Manunggaling Tirta suci di Petirtan Candi Jolotundo dan memuji kepada Gusti Allah SWT agar tirta suci menjadi tirta kesembuhan bagi kehidupan seluruh makhluk.
