Description

K is in there . . . somewhere.

This coat was loaned to us by a Russian family who thought the winter wear that we brought with us for Ksenia was laughable. The mittens however are from REI.

You can also see the hideous wallpaper the apartment we lived in had in the background.

She is wearing "valenki" on her feet - felt boots that are useless if there is any moisture but are excellent insulation in dry cold climates, which certainly describes a Yekaterinburg winter.
