Description
Русский: Радио — разновидность беспроводной передачи информации, при которой в качестве носителя информации используются радиоволны, свободно распространяемые в пространстве. 7 мая 1895 года в Петербурге русский учёный-изобретатель, физик и электротехник Александр Степанович Попов на заседании Русского физико-химического общества в ходе обстоятельного доклада продемонстрировал действие первого в мире радиоприёмника. На почтовой марке изображён радиоприёмник 1895 г. из коллекции Центрального музея связи имени А.С. Попова.
