| Description | Information board at "Russerhulen" (En:The Russian Den) in Grimstrup Krat, reads: "Russerstenen er rejst til minde om to russiske krigsfanger. De flygtede fra en fangetransport under 2. verdenskrig. Russerne gravede en hule i krattet og levede i skjul for tyskerne vinteren 1944-45. Nogle beboere i Grimstrup var bekendt med stedet, så de bar i al hemmelighed mad ud til dem. Forsamlingshuset og præstegården var besat af tyskerne. Det fortælles at når fru pastor Lilleør bar mad ud til dem, skulle hun synge en bestemt russisk sang. Hun havde gerne den mindste af drengene med, så det kunne ligne en skovtur. Fra indvielsen af Russerstenen 5.maj 1990" |
