Description
Bahasa Indonesia: Bahasa Indonesia: Cagar Budaya yang berada di Kota Pekanbaru, Propinsi Riau.

Rumah singgah Sultan Siak tidak terlepas dari sejarah panjang perkembangan Kerajaan Siak Sri Indrapura. Saat itu Senapelan berada di wilayah yang cukup strategis dalam lalu lintas perdagangan dan ditunjang dengan kondisi Sungai Siak yang tenang. Selain itu wilayah Senapelan juga membuat perkampungannya memegang posisi silang baik dengan pedalaman Tapung, Minangkabau dan Kampar. Mempertimbangkan kondisi yang sangat mendukung itu, Sultan Abdul Jalil Alamuddin Syahwilayah memindahkan pusat Kerajaan Siak dari Mempura ke Senapelan dan menjadi Ibu kota Kerajaan Siak Sri Indrapura sekitar tahun 1775.

Senapelan saat ini berubah menjadi kota Pekanbaru.
