Summary
[edit]DescriptionRuins of church, Saint Kevin’s Park, Camden Row, Dublin 8.jpg |
English: Saint Kevin’s Park, Camden Row, Dublin 8. Ruins of a church built between 1750 and 1780, built on the site of a pre-Norman church. The site was dedicated to Saint Kevin of Glendalough, and it includes the burials of notable people, such as the family members of the 19th century poet, Thomas Moore. An excavation undertaken in the 60s revealed medieval coins and graves. The park is a haven for biodiversity, with 19 species of birds recorded. Photo taken on November 16th, 2023, with my phone, Fairphone 4. |
