Der Bildstock aus dem Jahre 1602 hatte das gleiche Steinmetzzeichen wie die Kanzel in der Kirche von Rütschenhausen. Dies hat ein Lehramtsstudent in den 70er Jahren in einer Seminararbeit im Fach Heimat- und Volkskunde festgestellt. Der Bildstock wurde 1981/1982 von der Besitzerin Maria Blum, An der Bundesstraße 2, entsprechend der denkmalrechtlichen Auflagen restauriert. Die Restaurierung hat der Bildhauer Peter Vollert durchgeführt. Der Bildstock ist etwa in der Mitte der nördlichen Längsseite des Wohnhauses in der Straße Am Trieb. Die Jahreszahl ist am Bildstock erhalten. Die Unterlagen über die Restaurierung werden von der Familie Blum verwahrt.
