V pražském Radotíně založil „Výzkumný ústav staviv“ a vydával časopis „Stavivo“. Byl nositelem francouzského Řádu čestné legie, autorem ekonomických knih a zasedal v několika správních radách. Koncem roku 1938 odešel do důchodu a řízení firmy přenechal svému jedinému synovi Dr. Ing. Rudolfu Bártovi (mladšímu).
English: Rudolf Barta Sr. was a co-owner of the cement works, which he expanded after the death of his father Ferdinand Barta by mining decorative limestone and later merged it with Herget's brickworks. In this way he laid the foundation of the large company "Prastav" for the production of building materials. In Prague Radotín he founded the "Research Institute of Building Materials" and published the magazine "Stavivo". He was a recipient of the French Legion of Honour, author of economic books and sat on several boards of directors. At the end of 1938 he retired and left the management of the company to his only son Dr. Ing. Rudolf Bárt (Jr.). |
