Summary
[edit]DescriptionRoynhollin in Hvalba and the Football Field.JPG |
English: Hvalba is a village in Suðuroy, Faroe Islands. The sports club of Hvalba is called Royn. The sports and community hall Roynhøllin was built in 1973, it was one of the first of its kind in the Faroe Islands together with KÍ høllin in Klaksvík. The football field in Hvalba is next to Roynhøllin, near the sandy beach. The football field has natural grass. In 2011 the football field in Hvalba was not only home field for Royn Hvalba, but also for TB Tvøroyri, because the football fild on Sevmýri is in too bad shape to be used any longer. TB is making a new football field in Trongisvágur, but until it is ready they use the football field in Hvalba to their home matches.
