Summary
[edit]DescriptionRoyal Highland Fusilier - geograph.org.uk - 662754.jpg | Royal Highland Fusilier 55019 approaches Peterborough with a London bound express. These Deltic locomotives, of which there were 22, were the mainstay of the east coast expresses from the mid 1960's until the HST's arrived in the 1980's. The end of terrace house on the right is in Mead Close. Behind is the industrial estate off Lincoln Road. The green fields beyond are now also an industrial estate. In the distance is Werrington Junction. |
