English: Rough pastures north of Hadrian's Wall Taken from near the Pennine Way just north of the Wall, looking towards Sewingshield Crags in NY7969. The plantation in the middle distance (right) is not marked on either of maps LR87 or OL43; the track roughly parallel to and north of the Wall goes right through the middle of the wood. |
