Summary
[edit]DescriptionRotor tip-jet 01.jpg |
日本語: 国立科学博物館に収蔵されている 萱場工業 ヘリプレーン1型 のために提供された石川島播磨工業のラムジェットエンジン (transalted as Ramjet engine of Ishikawajima Harima Industry, which was offered for the type 1 industrial helicopter industry built in the National Science Museum) However this is clearly NOT a ramjet as there is no air intake!! This is most probably a tip-burner from a similar gyrodyne, using compressed air from a fuselage mounted gas turbine compressor or burning fuel in a combustion chamber, but NOT from the Kayaba Heliplane, as described. |
