English: Roskilde Bank, Roskilde, Denmark. - Roskilde Bank has been taken over by The Danish National Bank and a Bank Trust from 25th August 2008. Roskilde Bank was the 10th largest bank in Denmark, but had too many and too big and too risky credit agreement to some very big customers. The loss until now is aound ½ billion Euro but might be as big as 1 billion Euro, or even more. It it the first bank overtake by The Danish National Bank since 1928.
