Description
English: Dayspring Church on Roosevelt Island (Manhattan, New York). Built in 1924 as part of the Metropolitan Hospital, which moved to Roosevelt Island (then Blackwell Island) from Wards Island in 1894. When the hospital moved to East Harlem in 1955, the church was abandoned. It began operation again in 1975 as the Redeemed Christian Church of God and was later renamed Dayspring Church.
