Summary

[edit]
Description This room was used for mass detentions. Note the rings on the floor and the large number of shackles stored against the wall. For all his black deeds, the demented psycopath Pol Pot wanted to be remembered by mankind, and so got statues of himself made. These are seen at the far end, in the cage. There are at least six heads of him there. Fortunately, they are in an obscure corner and at such a level that no one will notice them. (Phnom Penh, Cambodia, Apr/ May 2014)
