Espace Automobiles Matra ou musée Matra.

DB Barquette Le Mans / 1955

Voiture d'usine en aluminium sur un châssis à deux poutres, retrouvée aux Etats-Unis. Les roues sont en magnésium. Elle finit seizième au Mans en 1955. 1955 est l'année du terrible accident de la Mercedes-Benz 300 SLR qui décollera et fera 84 morts et 180 blessés dans les tribunes.

Sur les quatre DB engagées seules deux vont finir, dont celle-ci, équipage Cornet / Mougin.
