Description
English: The People's Salvation Cathedral refers to an Orthodox cathedral in Bucharest that is meant to become the patriarchal cathedral of the Romanian Orthodox Church and it is the largest Orthodox church in the world. It is located in central Bucharest on Spirea's Hill (Arsenal Square), facing the same courtyard as the Palace of the Parliament. The cathedral is dedicated to the Ascension of Christ and to Saint Andrew the Apostle, protector of Romania.
